Schematic capture and PCB layout of an embedded prototype platform powered by a Micro USB +5v connection, with USB interface to a ST STM32F103 Microcontroller. Additional platform features include:
CAN and RS-485 communication peripherals.
SPI interface to an AdaFruit 1.8" TFT LCD module.
UART interface to a ESP8266 WiFi module.
SDIO to on-board Micro SD card slot.
PWM, ADC, DAC, and 4-20mA signals routed to terminal block for mixed-signal control.
Main microcontroller linked to Nordic nRF52832 MCU via SPI and GPIO for Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity support.
PCB Gerbers generated and passed DFM check with no errors and no warnings. Board successfully fabricated with contract manufacturer.
