Ayisha.js – Open-source HTML-first JavaScript framework

Summary: A micro JavaScript framework I created for building reactive web apps with a single script tag, with no build step and no dependencies.
Context / client: My own open-source project, released under the MIT licence. Its official site, ayisha.app, is built entirely with Ayisha.js.
Problem: Modern JavaScript usually means React, Vue or Svelte plus bundlers, npm and a steep learning curve, even for a landing page or a small prototype. I wanted something lighter: write HTML with directives, add one script tag and ship.
My role: Creator and maintainer: framework design and implementation, documentation, the ayisha.app website, tutorials and live demos.
Stack: Vanilla JavaScript · Virtual DOM · HTML-first directives · built-in SPA routing · jsDelivr CDN · npm · GitHub · MIT licence
What was built: • A micro Virtual DOM with reactive rendering and reusable HTML components, including async loading of external components • 50+ directives inspired by Vue and Angular, such as @if, @for, @model, @click and @form • Built-in SPA routing, async fetch and state management, two-way binding, declarative forms and form validation • ayisha.app: interactive tutorials, a directives wiki, course pages and comparison tables. The site itself is built with Ayisha.js.
Outcome: Ayisha.js is live at ayisha.app and on GitHub (current release v1.1.2) under the MIT licence, and it is also published on npm. Developers can start with a single script tag and follow tutorials that run real code. Site: https://www.ayisha.app · GitHub: https://github.com/BenJrSky/ayisha.js
