This project was created in the second year of university at IADE - Creative University, along with two colleagues.
It was proposed to us to create a logo that could involve a new brand for the city of Lisbon. This logo would be inserted in all kinds of projects surrounding the city itself. this logo was intended to obtain a more conceptual, simple, easily recognizable and memorable image. As we can see, the logo is made up of typography, a symbol and a slogan.
Two versions were created for this logo, with horizontal and vertical versions.
As mentioned earlier, we had to create a logo for this same city. So, we approached the idea of the expression "all roads lead to Rome" by making a version of "all roads lead to Lisbon", transforming it into the slogan. This approach led us to think which would be the symbol that most connected with the expression, so we adopted the "Rotunda" because the Marquês de Pombal roundabout is the center of the whole city and that leads to all its points.
That's why we made a simple graphic connection for this logo.
For this logo we provide a manual of rules for its use, so that its use would be as correct as possible.
For a better representation of how this logo would be represented, we made (along with the rules manual) some mockups/stationary for where this logo would be displayed.
