Recognizing the amount of dissatisfied restaurant workers, I noticed a substantial void in their ability to navigate job opportunities that aligned with their needs. Thousands in the industry felt disillusioned but lacked accessible avenues to gauge whether a prospective restaurant would be a suitable match for their needs and aspirations.

As I delved into designing BetterShift, I discovered just how vital it is to gather user feedback early on. We kicked off our feedback collection only a few weeks into the project, and it was amazing! Hearing directly from users provided us with solid evidence that truly guided our design choices. It was like having a conversation right from the start, and it made all the difference in how we shaped BetterShift.
