This is a short biopic about Dr. Werner Forssmann, a physician and nobel price winner who tested the worlds first cardiac catheter in a dangerous self-experiment.

I was appalled and fascinated by this somewhat crazy science-story. So I pitched it to the editors of ProSieben - Galileo - the most renowed knowledge magazine in german TV.
They liked the idea but didn´t believe we could do it for a sustainable budget.
So we did the math and came up with some ideas.
The show aired 2014 - it was awarded the Science in TV and New Media Award.
Commissioned Production for ProSieben as a creative producer, director and editor.
