OneRent is a premium car rental service based in Dubai designed to connect customers, operational teams, and vehicle partners within a single digital ecosystem.

The platform allows users to browse vehicles, customize rentals, and manage bookings entirely online while providing internal teams with powerful tools to manage fleet operations, pricing, logistics, and partner relationships.

Our team designed the entire product experience from the ground up — including the customer website, operational admin platform, and mobile applications.

There was no existing interface, no defined visual language, and no structured user experience. At the same time, the product needed to support complex operational workflows including vehicle inventory management, pricing logic, booking management, and administrative roles.

The key challenge was to design a system that could launch quickly while remaining scalable for long-term growth.

The goal was to understand how similar platforms structure booking flows, where users experience friction, and which solutions scale effectively over time.

Based on this research we defined several guiding principles:

reduce cognitive load during booking

maintain a premium brand perception

prioritize clarity and usability over visual complexity

Due to the scale and complexity of the platform, development was structured into several stages.

This allowed the business to launch an MVP quickly while continuously expanding the system with new capabilities.

We designed a role-based admin platform that allows teams to control different aspects of the business while keeping the interface simple and efficient.

Managers can oversee vehicles, partners, bookings, and system content, while operational teams manage vehicle deliveries, inspections, and logistics.

This system became the operational backbone of the OneRent business.

To extend the platform beyond desktop, we designed two mobile applications.

The customer app allows renters to browse vehicles, manage bookings, and receive real-time notifications.

The agent app gives vehicle partners tools to manage listings, bookings, and performance directly from their phones.

Together these applications support real-time business operations and increase accessibility for both customers and partners.

To ensure consistency across desktop, admin, and mobile experiences, we built a modular design system.

The system includes reusable UI components, typography hierarchy, icon libraries, and color tokens.

This approach allowed the product to scale efficiently while keeping the interface consistent as the platform continues to evolve.

The final result is a scalable digital ecosystem supporting the entire OneRent business.

The platform successfully combines a premium customer experience with powerful operational tools, allowing the company to manage rentals, fleet operations, and partner relationships within one unified system.

The modular design foundation also prepares the platform for future growth, feature expansion, and automation.
