When I worked at Cube, I was the main force between increasing website visits from under 800/month to over 30,000 in under 2 years. That's 4000% growth.
Results
Here are two screenshots of Cube's traffic, 22 months apart, from before and after I started SEO and content work there, The first is from September 1, 2021. The second is from July 13, 2023.

Traffic is, of course, not a wholly reliable metric. We have to refine it.

Cube saw a 1000% increase in organic-sourced demo requests.
This increase in SEO-sourced demo requests was a major factor in Cube's 400% ARR growth that contributed to their Series B round, which happened mid-spring.
That's not too long after I started SEO work, and it shows that even a little targeted work can go a long way.
What I did
I focused on topics and keywords that Cube's target customers were searching for and that matched what Cube could provide.
Then I prioritized by studying keyword data, planned content for the quarter, and wrote, editing, and worked with freelancers to make up the volume.
We slowly increased our publishing cadence to hit a comfortable 2-3 times per week. That's 26-39 new blogs per quarter.
Additionally, after the first year, we began active maintenance on our older content to keep it fresh.
