That's why it's essential to have a conversion-focused strategy in place when doing SEO.
At Cube, I noticed
one of our BOFU blog articles brought in way more conversions than the others. Why was that?
After digging through the data in Google Analytics and a heatmapping tool like Hotjar, I found two big reasons:
The CTAs were more targeted and specific, so they converted better
That article did a better job of comparing Cube to the competition
Based on these findings, I came up with a conversion strategy:
Create a greater quantity of and more specific CTAs for other blog posts
Add more Cube comparison sections in the other blog articles to handle objections and reduce the friction of requesting a demo
We saw anywhere from a 10-30% conversion lift
after implementing these simple changes.
