Briefly describe the project you worked on. What did you create, who did you create it for, and how did you approach this project?
The project involved migrating the accounting from Mexico to Costa Rica. Specifically, I was part of the payments team.
The challenges of this project involved a lack of information as the original process was on the mind of one single person. And only one manager went to Mexico to get the training.
We implemented 3 phases: migration, implementation, and stabilization.
In the migration phase, we received training and documented most of the process, even though there were gaps.
On implementation phase, we documented and tested all the systems, find solving ideas to ensure efficiency and made sure the process was as fluent as possible.
On stabilization phase, we proceed to train backups and to put in final touches to the training material so that the daily work was as smooth as possible.
