1) Develop understanding of chip requirements within organization - Create forecast for next 12 months for finished products, understand what that translates to in terms of chips; Deliverable - Table showing the production requirements of each type of chip and its seasonality through the year
2) Prioritize chips - Understand the commercial and strategic value of each of the finished goods (what is the profit margin, how important is the customer, etc)
3) Work with suppliers to focus only on prioritized chips
4) Work with engineering teams to understand whether chips which were unaffected by chip shortage could be substituted in
