Roger Oney
I engaged Roger to help me launch my new spiritual podcast last year. Not only did he research every bit of information I needed around recording software and hardware, publishing providers and more, but he took the extra step of editing the audio of every episode—including the podcast trailer, intro, outro and even some fun ad reads! I’m technologically ignorant and frustrate easily when I don’t know how to troubleshoot issues or solve problems in this space. With Roger’s help, starting a podcast felt surprisingly easy—and his professionalism enabled me to simply “plug in” to the format and do my part, not worrying about the stuff I’m not any good at. Working with Roger on my podcast—now in Season 3-- has been incredibly intuitive and easy, making my primary focus coordinating interviews with guests and engaging them in lively discussions. As a small business owner, this low maintenance approach to podcasting is crucial so that I can focus on my core business and client service as I wear about a dozen other work hats! The most astonishing part of working with Roger on my podcast has been seeing the measurable, positive impact it’s had on my business. To date, the podcast has paid for itself—which means that anything I’ve paid Roger for his assistance has already come back into my revenue streams through new clients, sold products, and more. I was shocked to see a return on investment so quickly, particularly given how saturated the podcast landscape seems to be at the moment. To date, social media and email campaigns have always produced lackluster results with regard to demand generation or increased eminence for my business. In contrast, I’m now 100% convinced that every small business owner with a point of view and something to say should absolutely start a podcast. Long form, interesting discussions enable both new and existing clients to get to know you (and your point of view) better. Without selling a thing, it’s the most effective sales tool I’ve ever used—and all of that is due to Roger’s support and technical expertise. The best part? Podcast episodes are forever, so as new listeners discover your podcast, binge it, and dig in to learn more about you and your offerings. I cannot recommend Roger more highly, and encourage everyone I know (and even folks I don’t know) to reach out to him ASAP to transform their business with a podcast.
