Mulu — iOS app design & build: AI journal with Apple Health
Mulu is my own iOS app, live on the App Store: a gentle digital-detox journal. You write or speak a two-minute entry, get an AI reflection back, and see your mood next to your Apple Health data.
Journaling helps, but it rarely survives the first week. Mulu keeps it to two minutes a day and ties it to the phone itself: your apps lock in the morning until you check in, so the ritual happens before the scroll.
What I built
Product and UX/UI design in Figma: daily check-in, entry, reflection, history and stats
Written and voice entries with an AI reflection on each one
Apple Health integration to show mood next to sleep and activity
Morning app lock until the daily check-in is done
Subscription paywall
App Store listing and screenshot set: photographic scenes with the real UI in hand
My role
Solo: product, design, iOS development, App Store submission and launch.
The daily two-minute ritual: mood check-in, completion, history and stats with Apple Health. Designed in Figma, built solo.
App Store page: the listing I designed and wrote — the outcome first, then the lock that makes people come back.
Four App Store slides: mood, ritual, reflection, the lock. Photographic scenes with the real UI in hand.
