Mivu — iOS app design & build: morning routine with camera AI
Mivu is my own iOS app, live on the App Store. It locks your distracting apps each morning until you do five minutes of yoga, stretching or meditation, and the camera checks that you actually moved.
Mornings often start with a scroll. Stretching apps depend on willpower, and screen-time limits are easy to dismiss. In Mivu the healthy habit is the only way to unlock your apps, so the routine happens first.
What I built
Product and UX/UI design in Figma: onboarding, ritual setup, the practice screen, progress and friends
iOS app with Expo + React Native, plus native Swift modules where iOS requires them
Screen Time integration that keeps chosen apps locked until the session is done
Camera pose check that confirms the movement on the device
Habit loop: streaks, friends and a leaderboard
App Store listing and a 10-slide screenshot set for A/B testing, localized in English, Spanish and Portuguese
My role
Solo: product, design, iOS development, App Store submission and launch.
The habit loop: streak, leaderboard, progress and the camera opt-in. Designed in Figma, built with Expo + native Swift.
App Store page: name, subtitle and screenshots written for search — 'morning routine', 'stretching', 'back pain'.
The full 10-slide screenshot set, built for an A/B test: hook, mechanism, proof, habit, close. Localized for EN, ES and PT.
