Lead UX Designer, tasked with the creation of a desktop/mobile website for Wonderful Weddings venue.

Choosing a wedding venue is arguably the most important part of the wedding planning, yet a lot of venues have one page websites or no websites at all. 

To stand out from the rest, Wonderful Weddings wanted a website that informs clients of all they have to offer while romanticizing the process of booking.

Encompassing the existing theme of Wonderful Weddings into the design.

Making the user flow easy to follow from start to finish.

Creating an up to date pricing and reservation calendar.

After conducting user interviews consisting of couples who have been through the venue booking process, newly engaged couples & singles, I compiled the information into empathy maps. I discovered the main pain point that was shared was that existing venue websites do not have enough information to make couples feel safe to move forward with the booking process.

The users feel like the website was easy to navigate and exceeded their needs. They thought the choice of colors and pictures fit in with the overall theme.

Designing this website, I learned that after each case study there is always something to improve.
