Home Run Electric: Website, Search & AI Visibility Launch
A 0→1 website built to get a 20-year commercial electrician found on Google and recommended by AI answer engines as it expands into residential service.
The Client:
Home Run Electric has handled commercial electrical work across Western Washington since 2003. They had no website, and new residential customers came largely through referrals. The goal was to grow residential and small business service calls, make emergency requests easy, and build a service line that increases the company's value.
Two clear actions up front: schedule service or request emergency help.
The Plan:
Strategy: discovery, competitive research, a PRD, and a prioritized 12-page inventory.
Answer engine optimization (AEO): Q&A-format tips and FAQs that answer the questions homeowners actually ask. They're backed by structured data and tied to HRE's license and credentials, so AI tools like ChatGPT and Google's AI Overviews can cite HRE as a trusted expert.
Information architecture: separate paths for residential and commercial customers, with reusable service, city, and tips templates built for local search.
Prep future expansion to accommodate online scheduling, direct-to-office messaging, and a full menu of detailed service descriptions
Conversion design: one Contact & Scheduling page that combines booking, estimate requests, and emergency service. The emergency number is reachable on mobile without scrolling.
Trust signals: owner and team bios, license info, testimonials, and a project gallery.
Build: designed and built in React, Vite, and Tailwind using Claude Code, with Cloudflare Turnstile protecting forms from spam.
Pre-launch reviews: a security review plus SEO and AEO audits covering structured data, meta tags, and social sharing previews (OG images).
Google Business Profile: set up and optimized in June 2026, ahead of the site launch.
Residential and commercial paths, each linking to a dedicated service page.
Early Results
The site launches Fall 2026. The Google Business Profile, live since June 2026, has already opened a customer funnel that previously didn't exist.
554 profile views
157 customer interactions
21 phone calls
Before the GBP was set up, the only residential services lead generator was word of mouth or industry referrals.
Expert answers written for homeowners and AI answer engines alike. Everyday AEO is becoming as important, if not more than, SEO.
Trust built on 40+ years of the owner's successful career, large service area, A+ BBB ratings, and certifications that the work will be done right the first time.
Booking, estimates, and emergency service in one place.
