MedCar+ is a concept hospital dashboard designed to simplify patient, doctor, and department management. I built this to explore how hospital admin interfaces can reduce visual noise while supporting real clinical workflows.
What I Did
Defined the information architecture — 5 core modules: Dashboard, Departments, Records, Doctors/Staff, and Settings
Designed the dashboard overview — total patients, active doctors, department summaries, and recent activity using cards and simple charts
Built the patient records system — global search, active/inactive filtering, quick stats, clean table layout with pagination
Created department and card account modules — structured views for hospital divisions and patient card management
Built a reusable design system — soft grey neutrals, blue accents, consistent spacing, card-based layout, table components
Key Design Decisions
Cards and simple charts over dense tables — hospital staff need quick answers, not data dumps
Consistent scanning patterns — every table uses the same structure so staff don't relearn each module
Modular architecture — new departments or features can be added without touching existing screens
Why This Matters
This project demonstrates healthcare admin dashboard design: how to make complex hospital operations data navigable for busy staff.
