Objective: To create a collection of mini-brand guidelines that simplify the main brand guidelines, providing team members with a clear, easy-to-use reference for each brand element. Each mini-guide will help ensure consistent, accurate use of brand assets across all touchpoints.
Goals:
Develop individual mini-guides focused on specific brand elements, such as logos, typography, colors, and imagery.
Make each mini-guide visually appealing and accessible, aligning with the main brand aesthetics.
Provide practical examples to clarify correct usage of brand elements.

Project Overview

The goal of this project was to create mini-brand guidelines that serve as quick-reference guides for team members. These guidelines break down the main brand elements into easily digestible sections, each detailing proper usage to ensure brand consistency.

Deliverables

Mini-Brand Guidelines Collection: Individual mini-guides for each core brand element.
Format & Design: Simple, visually aligned layout for each guide, ensuring ease of reference.
Use Cases & Examples: Specific examples to demonstrate how each brand element should and shouldn’t be used.
Brand Assets Library: Centralized library containing downloadable assets (logos, icons, color swatches).

Timeline

Research & Planning (2-3 days):
Conduct a brand discovery session to align on key brand elements and primary guidelines.
Outline the individual sections for each mini-guide, including logos, typography, colors, iconography, and tone of voice.
Develop a consistent framework for each mini-guide to ensure a uniform structure.
Content Creation & Design (5-7 days):
Write clear, concise descriptions for each element, including practical dos and don’ts.
Design each mini-guide with a format that aligns visually with the main brand guidelines.
Integrate relevant examples and scenarios that illustrate the correct and incorrect use of each brand element.
Asset Library Setup & Finalization (2-3 days):
Organize all essential brand assets (logos, fonts, color codes) in a centralized, easily accessible digital library.
Link each mini-guide to the corresponding assets, allowing team members to download and apply them easily.
Finalize the mini-brand guidelines and ensure alignment with the main brand guidelines.
