Our Story

In 2021, FYSH Foods co-founder Zoya Biglary faced a dilemma: she loved the taste and texture of raw fish but wasn’t too keen on consuming unsustainably sourced animal products. And the plant-based fish alternatives available on the market just weren’t hitting the spot. So she teamed up with chef Paul Barbosa, and the pair spent a year in the kitchen developing FYSH, a delicious plant-based raw fish alternative.

Our Mission

We believe that small changes have big impacts. By swapping in plant-based FYSH, we can all continue enjoying our favorite sushi, lox bagels, and ceviche without contributing to the harmful environmental effects of overfishing and bycatch.
At the heart of FYSH Foods is a goal to provide you with choices. Everyone should have access to tasty and sustainable seafood options, regardless of dietary preferences. Our innovative fish alternative empowers you to make decisions that are good for your diet and the planet.
