📝 An Annual Report Done Better

AI Partnerships Corp. (AIP) is a B2B affiliate network that connects AI startups to businesses seeking AI solutions, so that AI engineers can focus on what they're good at: Creating, training, and maintaining AI.

When AIP originally reached out to me about this project, they knew they needed to take their report to the next level.

We were up against some serious competitors: McKinsey Consulting, to name the biggest.

How were we going to stand out against the grain of a website with that kind of authority?

🔍 SEO Comes Back To Searchers

In 2022, Google made huge shifts into two large areas of SEO focus: Topical Authority + Search Intent.

Topical Authority

Topical Authority is an SEO concept that many people call "content clustering." Taking on a core keyword as a "pillar" piece, and then creating all the ancillary support posts to go with it (think smaller keywords like RAM vs ROM).

Search Intent

Search Intent is a strategic SEO concept that requires you to step into the shoes of your intended audience and ask, "What are they really looking for when they search this keyword?"

Using this knowledge, AIP and I were able to effectively tackle one niche audience within the greater AI Startups sphere.

For AIP, it made sense to target business owners looking to hire AI services in 2022 specifically.

We still included aspects of the full context — AI startups & VC or Angel investors included — but ultimately, this report was for all the business owners, COOs, and Technical Team Leads out there!
