Character Animation (lottie, Json,GIF)

I was hired to animate a pre-designed character and convert it into a smooth, lightweight Lottie animation for web use. My focus was on creating expressive, loopable motion while keeping the final file fast and performance-friendly.

I prepared the artwork for animation, built a clean rig in After Effects, and animated subtle movements, such as idle motion, blinks, and gestures, to give the character a distinctpersonality. After refining timing and easing, I exported the final animation as a fully optimised Lottie JSON, along with MP4/GIF previews.

The result was a polished, web-ready animation that added life and interactivity to the client’s brand without affecting load speed.
