Stilta — YC-backed Agentic AI Startup

Overview Stilta builds agentic AI for intellectual property teams — automating invalidity, infringement, and freedom-to-operate analysis for patent attorneys. Backed by a16z, Microsoft, and Y Combinator, they needed a marketing site that could match the seriousness of their enterprise legal clients (KUKA, Spotify's ex-Head of IP, top litigation firms) while still feeling like a fast-moving, credible AI startup.

The challenge Legal tech is a hard category to design for: the product is technical, the buyer is risk-averse, and trust signals (security certifications, testimonials from senior IP counsel, funding credibility) matter as much as the pitch itself. The site needed to explain a complex agentic workflow in seconds, without dumbing it down for an audience of patent attorneys and general counsel.

What I did Designed and built the full site end-to-end in Framer:

Animated stat counters (17-minute median runtime, 180M+ patents indexed, recall benchmarks) that make abstract AI performance claims feel concrete and scannable

A 3-module product breakdown (Infringement Analysis, Invalidity Analysis, Freedom to Operate) with embedded video demos for each

A 4-step "how it works" flow translating an agentic pipeline into something a non-technical legal buyer understands in one scroll

Enterprise security section (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, EU AI Act) built to reassure legal/compliance stakeholders

Testimonial carousel from named enterprise IP leaders, and a dedicated funding announcement section for their $10.5M raise led by a16z

Responsive, fast-loading build optimized for a YC-stage company scaling fast

Result A site that carries enterprise-grade trust signals without losing startup momentum — built to convert a skeptical, legal-trained audience while supporting Stilta's fundraising and enterprise sales motion.
