Many women in abusive relationships don’t recognize the abuse, as society often portrays an abusive partner as an alcoholic, drug addict, or someone who physically hurts and yells. However, the reality is more complex. Our adult relationships are often shaped by the perceptions we form in childhood. To help women see their worth and the happiness they deserve, we used the lens of childhood fairytales to highlight that abuse can look glamorous too.
