CRED is a Indian fintech startup that rewards good behaviour and financial health for the 1% of India. Its at a 6.7B$ Valuation and currently has 11 million users.

I started in Card management when I had joined CRED as an in 2020, and ended up leading with my manager by 2023. Over the course of past 3 years the card mgmt. system of CRED went through 2 revamps as when the business scaled we added more features and product lines for the user.

In 2020, CRED was a smaller company to what it is now and as a result we had less offerings to the user. 
In cards we used to allow only payments and checking spend details. 

Even though we had good tech to power a lot of features our UX was not enhanced to incorporate them.

I joined this charter as an intern and we immediately started to work on the 1st revamp of cards.

After an year of learnings and continous experiments we learned that we had taken a step in the right direction with the revamp but we still had some critical fixes to make.

In this revamp we optimised for surfacing and ease of navigation in cards. Since credit cards have a lot of transaction and account data to manage it was essential to us that we simplified the experience and made it as frictionless as possible.

and this was the revamp we did the last and final time for our credit card management system. It was to emphasize the key fetures that users were using and removing everything that was not valueable or caused confusion for the users. We used this time to also visualise enhance our design style and moved to a more and modern and scalable solution.
