When Hamish, founder of Ghost Gloss, came to me, he had a clear vision and a passion for cars that was impossible to miss. Based in Melbourne, Ghost Gloss is a mobile car detailing service that caters to both car enthusiasts and everyday drivers.

Hamish wanted Ghost Gloss to feel sleek, professional, and energetic, capturing the edge of drift culture without alienating customers outside the car scene. We built a visual identity that carefully balances aggression and approachability.

The flat ghost icon delivers a clean, modern impression at first glance, positioning the brand as professional and refined.

Sharp, angular eyes inject just the right amount of aggression, nodding to the adrenaline of drift culture. The fluid ghost shape keeps the icon playful and avoids any “spooky” or Halloween connotations.

Subtle flame-inspired curves in the lower half hint at speed, performance, and custom drift livery. The forward slant gives it that sense of movement, while the cutouts in the "G" are a nice nod to racing stripes.
