Role: Marketing & Community Lead (freelance), Kronicles · May 2024 to Jul 2025
What I did:
Co-led day-to-day community management;
Hosted 100+ live events across Twitter/X Spaces, AMAs, gaming tournaments, and community streams;
Revamped the loyalty/point system for our Discord members to get better event attendance;
Coordinated creator campaigns within a curated programme of 42 in-house content creators, alongside social content initiatives to support audience growth and community engagement;
Helped the founder rebrand Gaming Chronicles to Kronicles, launching a new logo, mascot and merch.
Results:
60,407 → 52,793 → 73,811 → 85,817 → 98,505 → 171,339 messages per month (Jun - Nov 2024);
170,000 messages, 7,900 voice hours and 680 unique active members in 30 days (founder-reported, 3 Dec 2024);
Creator programme: 42 creators, $50,000+ paid out to creators and 35 low-quality creators removed to protect content standards (May - Nov 2024, founder-reported).
How the creator programme worked:
Authentic engagement over inflated or botted metrics;
Full campaign budgets shared openly with creators;
Kept small on purpose so every creator got real support and fair pay.
