Dewline: a creator skincare ad with three hooks (Concept)

Same face in every talking shot, and she doesn't exist.
Dewline is a concept for a fictional brand. The brief was a creator-style skincare ad, someone talking straight to camera in her bathroom the way a real customer would on Reels or TikTok. Brands that sell this way test several openings at once, so it also needed alternate hooks and a short cut.
There's a 24 second main cut, two alternate 24 second hooks and a 15 second cutdown. One hook opens on the product drop, the other on a POV line. Everything is vertical, with captions sized for a muted feed.
Keeping one face from shot to shot is the hard part of a talking ad. We made an 8 second turnaround of the creator first and used it as the reference for every talking shot. She's the same woman in all four cuts, down to the hoops and the curls.
Her lines play over her own voice take, and sync was checked frame by frame. One line came back a little slow, so that clip starts 0.12 seconds later to put her lips back on her words.
Plenty got thrown away. The first captions were too small to read on a muted phone. The drop shot got trimmed to its first 1.6 seconds, because after that the drop rolls down her cheek like a tear.
