Client Desire

The client in this partnership was preparing to launch a brand. They had the idea of creating content that would position them as a reliable resource for highlighting stationery in an authentic and aesthetically appealing way.

Client Request

The client wanted to create a repository of content that could be pushed at launch that could set the foundation for a brand that is effortless and intentional when it comes to showcasing stationery products.

Process

Introductions and Level-Setting - The client and I used our kick-off meeting to discuss the brand and their desires around how they'd like for it to be introduced to the world. The topic of brand awareness was very sensitive giving that this is a launch so there was emphasis on the need to be gentle with the approach.

Concept Drafts and Script Writing - It is during this phase that video concept drafting occurred. I drafted shots lists and play-by-plays that detailed the videos I imagined for the launch of the brand. In addition to that, the client opted to draft scripts for videos with voiceovers and we cross referenced that with shot lists to ensure that the way products are showcased align with what was being highlighted in voiceovers.

Video Production - Filming begins! The content was created in accordance with the experience the client wanted future consumers to have when they choose to engage with it. The client shared the products that they wanted to be showcased in the initial wave of brand introduction.

Delivery and Revisions - The initial round of videos were shared with the client. Feedback and edit requests were subsequently shared which then led to more versions being created that were more aligned with the desires of the client.
