Dix Hectares is a luxury skincare brand inspired by seasonal ingredients, botanical research, and slow beauty. This concept explores how an e-commerce experience can feel as carefully crafted as the products themselves.
The goal was to design a website that balances product discovery with storytelling, allowing visitors to experience the brand’s philosophy while naturally exploring the collection.

Design Direction

Every visual decision was made to support the brand’s calm and editorial aesthetic.
The interface combines warm neutral backgrounds, earthy greens, refined typography, and generous spacing to create a shopping experience that feels quiet and intentional. Large photography and minimal interface elements allow the products to remain the focus throughout the website.
Rather than following a traditional beauty e-commerce layout, the design borrows from luxury editorial websites where imagery and storytelling guide the experience.

The homepage introduces the brand through large cinematic imagery, seasonal product collections, botanical ingredients, editorial content, customer testimonials, and press mentions.
Instead of immediately pushing products, the experience gradually introduces visitors to the philosophy behind the brand before leading into the product collection.

The navigation was designed as a full-screen browsing experience rather than a traditional dropdown menu.
Products, collections, and brand content are presented alongside immersive photography, creating a more engaging way to explore the website while reinforcing the brand’s premium identity.

The product page focuses on presenting information in a clean and approachable way.
Large product photography is paired with ingredient highlights, customer reviews, usage guidance, botanical information, and supporting content to help visitors learn more about each product without overwhelming the page.
The layout balances educational content with purchasing actions while maintaining the calm visual rhythm established across the rest of the website.

Visual Style

The visual identity is built around natural textures, muted color palettes, and editorial-inspired typography.
Soft cream backgrounds, botanical imagery, earthy greens, and warm terracotta accents create a palette that reflects the brand’s connection to nature. Combined with generous whitespace and carefully selected photography, the interface feels premium without relying on unnecessary visual effects.

Outcome

The final design creates a digital experience that feels consistent with the values of the brand, combining storytelling, product presentation, and e-commerce into a cohesive visual system.
Rather than treating the website as a storefront alone, the design encourages visitors to slow down, explore the products, and connect with the philosophy behind Dix Hectares.
