The Story Behind

HSBC is committed to ethical business practices and combating modern slavery within its supply chain. Their current Modern Slavery Act statement exists as a text-heavy Word document. While the content itself is important, the format lacks visual appeal and might not be engaging stakeholders.

The Solution

I was tasked with transforming the statement into a captivating PDF report that adhered to HSBC’s branding guidelines.

Editorial Expertise:

  • I meticulously reviewed the content, ensuring clarity, conciseness, and adherence to brand voice.
  • I strategically reorganized information for a logical flow, enhancing readability for the audience.

Compelling Layout Design:

  • I leveraged my design skills to create a visually engaging document aligned with HSBC's brand identity.
  • This included incorporating the company's colour scheme, fonts, and logo throughout the report.
  • To further enhance user experience, I strategically placed relevant images and infographics that complemented the text, making the content more digestible and impactful.
