No one is born broken, but life can break people. Over the last 4 years, the US lost almost 380,000 people to drug overdoses. Depression and anxiety has become an overwhelming statistic for people from 8 years old to 80 years old. For those who are struggling just to keep their head above the water, sometimes a lifeline is needed to bring them to safety. By becoming a partner with Lifelines, you can support someone else’s journey financially as they address the ways that life has tried to break them. Your contribution will provide access to an inclusive space for faith-based or conventional mental health counseling with a trusted mental health practitioner.

FAQ
Is my gift considered a tax free donation?

How do I become a Lifeline?
Lifelines is a program created by Intersections for Healing. With your help, we provide pro-rated counseling to individuals in financial need who otherwise could not afford it. All gifts designated to Lifelines are processed through United With Christ as part of their mission to “demonstrate the kindness of God that births wholeness.”
What are the requirements for consideration for the program?
Clients using the Lifelines program must have a diagnosis related to trauma and be able to commit to weekly or bi-weekly sessions for a minimum of 6 sessions. Clients must also commit to paying a portion of their fee to attest to personal investment unless it is confirmed through documentation they are indigent.
What kind of practitioners are available to applicants?
We have a variety of professional coaches and counselors with specialties in their field that are available to work with clients on a faith-based, conventional, or open-ended approach to counseling.
