Willow & Salt is a modern Australian café and brunch restaurant website concept designed for a warm, relaxed, and premium dining brand.

The project was inspired by Australian café culture: slow mornings, specialty coffee, fresh seasonal ingredients, natural textures, warm interiors, and relaxed coastal living.

The goal was to create a website that feels inviting and elegant while helping visitors quickly explore the menu, understand the atmosphere, and book a table with confidence.

The main goal was to design a café website that does more than look beautiful. It needed to guide visitors from discovery to reservation in a smooth and natural way.

I focused on creating a website that could:

Build a strong first impression Showcase the café’s food, coffee, and atmosphere Make the brunch menu easy to explore Create a simple reservation journey Work beautifully across desktop and mobile Support trust through clear information, location, hours, and contact details

The final design balances warm café storytelling with practical restaurant UX.

The visual direction is based on modern Australian brunch culture with a soft coastal café feeling.

I used warm cream, eucalyptus green, terracotta, natural beige, and soft brown tones to create a calm and inviting brand atmosphere.

The typography combines elegant serif headings with clean modern body text. This gives the website a premium editorial feeling while keeping all information easy to read.

The imagery direction focuses on artisan coffee, avocado toast, seasonal plates, fresh fruit, pastries, ceramic tableware, eucalyptus details, warm sunlight, and natural café interiors.

The homepage introduces the Willow & Salt brand with a strong hero section, clear reservation CTA, brunch menu highlights, coffee section, seasonal specials, dining atmosphere, opening hours, location, newsletter, and footer.

This page combines menu browsing and table booking in one smooth experience. Visitors can explore menu categories such as all-day brunch, coffee, fresh juices, pastries, and seasonal plates while also accessing a clean reservation form.

The mobile experience was designed for quick browsing and easy booking. It includes mobile homepage, brunch menu, booking form, and visit/location screens.

The visit page includes location, phone number, email, opening hours, café interior preview, and map area to help customers plan their visit easily.

The website was designed to make the guest journey simple and intuitive.
