Background
Financial IQ LLC is a trading consultancy that helps its members build stronger portfolios through clear trading strategies and ongoing guidance. The team actively trades alongside its clients and keeps communication close through dedicated group chats and practical support. Historically, members logged trades and viewed performance metrics using individual Excel spreadsheets.
Problem
The Excel-based approach could not keep up with Financial IQ’s growth. Managing over 500 separate files became difficult and unreliable. Manual edits often broke the sheets, and pushing updates or improvements meant repeating changes hundreds of times. Data remained scattered and inconsistent, making it nearly impossible to get accurate performance tracking or deeper insights across clients. The system lacked control, consistency, and the capacity to scale.
Solution
V88 built a single, centralised Glide app that mirrors Financial IQ’s trading workflows while staying simple for users. Members now have a dashboard showing risk and cashflow metrics at a glance, along with grouped trade tables and visual progress bars for key measures like time-in-trade and cashflow targets. They can manage trades through active trade and journal screens, set portfolio goals, review historical performance, and access resources and guides easily. Every trade has a detailed view that adjusts dynamically by trade type, and custom forms keep data entry clean and fast. Complex backend workflows handle steps like options assignments automatically, reducing multi-step tasks to a single click and ensuring calculations update live as trades move between categories.
Result
The new system is now part of daily life for both Financial IQ staff and their members. Engagement is high, and the Glide app supports every strategy the firm teaches. Data is centralised, workflows run smoothly, and the risk of user errors is gone. The platform now provides a stable base for accurate performance tracking, informed decisions, and future growth.
