Project Overview

Health In Tech is an AI-powered InsurTech platform that simplifies health insurance administration through intelligent technology. While the product itself is sophisticated, the existing website didn't fully reflect that. The messaging lacked emphasis, the visual hierarchy made important information easy to miss, and the overall experience didn't inspire the level of confidence expected from a modern healthcare technology company.
This concept redesign explored how a stronger digital experience could better communicate the platform's innovation, build trust with potential customers, and create a clearer path for users to understand its value.

The Challenge

Healthcare and insurance operate in a space where trust is everything. Users need to feel confident within seconds of landing on a page.
The existing website introduced the platform but fell short in a few critical areas: complex information was difficult to parse, key value propositions were buried, and the visual language didn't match the quality of the product behind it.
How might we redesign the digital experience to communicate credibility, simplify complexity, and better align the website with the sophistication of the platform?

My Approach

I began by auditing the existing experience to identify where users might lose confidence or struggle to grasp the product's value. I analyzed the information hierarchy, messaging, layout, and visual consistency across the site.
From there, I focused on four areas:
Content restructuring - Reorganizing information to lead with value and reduce cognitive load.
Navigation simplification - Making it easier for users to find what they need without friction.
Readability improvements - Using typography, spacing, and hierarchy to make complex information scannable.
Visual language upgrade - Establishing a modern, polished aesthetic that matches the company's positioning.

Visual Identity

Typography

Syne (Primary) - A bold, geometric typeface with distinctive character. Its strong presence anchors headlines and section titles, giving the interface a modern, forward-thinking feel that aligns with Health In Tech's AI-driven positioning.
DM Sans (Secondary) - Clean and highly readable at all sizes. Used for body text and supporting UI elements, it balances Syne's personality with neutral clarity, keeping the experience approachable and easy to scan.

Key Design Decisions

Hero Section

Redesigned the hero to communicate the product's value immediately. Replaced generic messaging with a clear, outcome-driven headline supported by stronger visual hierarchy and a direct call to action.

Who We Serve

Structured the audience section to help visitors quickly identify whether the platform is relevant to them. Clear segmentation and concise descriptions reduce the time it takes to understand who Health In Tech is built for.

Platform Features

Simplified the feature presentation to reduce cognitive load. Each feature is communicated through a focused layout with clear headings, supporting descriptions, and visual cues that guide the eye without overwhelming the reader.

Testimonials

Introduced a dedicated testimonial section to build social proof. Real quotes from users reinforce trust and give potential customers confidence that the platform delivers on its promises.

FAQ

Added a structured FAQ section to address common questions upfront. This reduces friction for users who need quick answers before committing, while also decreasing support burden.

Footer

Redesigned the footer to serve as both a navigation aid and a final trust signal. Cleaner layout, better link organization, and consistent branding carry the experience through to the last pixel.

Before

The original website introduced the platform but didn't fully communicate its sophistication. The visual hierarchy made key information easy to miss, and the overall experience lacked the polish expected from a modern healthcare technology company.

What Changed

Generic hero messaging became outcome-driven communication
Buried value propositions became clearly prioritized content
Cluttered layouts became focused, scannable sections
Inconsistent visual language became a cohesive design system
Missing social proof became a dedicated testimonial section
No FAQ section became a structured, friction-reducing FAQ

Outcome and Reflection

Although this was a concept redesign, it demonstrates how thoughtful UX and interface design can transform perception. By improving clarity, visual communication, and information architecture, the experience better aligns Health In Tech's digital presence with the quality of its product.
The project reinforced that in healthcare and insurance, trust isn't just a nice-to-have. It's the foundation of every design decision. Every layout choice, every word, every visual element either builds confidence or erodes it. The goal was to make sure every pixel worked toward the former.
