With the conclusion of the PPKM, traveling has emerged as a cherished pursuit within society. Nevertheless, numerous individuals grapple with the challenge of structuring and arranging their travel plans. This encompasses dedicating substantial time towards sourcing activity recommendations and diverse destination options through various applications, alongside managing transportation and accommodation reservations.
User Research
After an in-depth exploration of the project's context, our focus shifted towards understanding the habits of frequent travelers, both domestically and internationally, aiming to categorize the challenges they face. Through interviews conducted with 5 active users of travel applications, we discovered a tendency among users to procure tickets and reserve hotel accommodations via these apps, leveraging discounts and insights from fellow users. This method notably saves them considerable time. Nonetheless, the proliferation of applications and incomplete information occasionally presents challenges for users in effectively documenting their travel experiences.
Secondary Research
Afterward, we conducted secondary research to uncover explanations for “why traveling has become a favored activity post-pandemic in Indonesia?”. The motivations behind post-pandemic travel encompass the desire to escape monotonous environments, seek relaxation and nourishment, engage in social interactions, fulfill wishes through savings for travel, strengthen family bonds, and embrace joy through various activities, echoing a sense of playfulness and the pursuit of disconnecting from routine glitches.
Problem Statement
Travelers experience difficulty when trying to determine their necessities and essential items to bring along during their trips, ultimately leading to an increase in their pre-set budgets. This arises due to insufficient expense tracking and limited access to relevant information for users.

IDEA
to streamline travel planning by providing intuitive itinerary creation, cost estimations, and comprehensive access to transportation and weather data, ensuring optimal resource utilization and budget management for users. After competitively analyzing several travel apps (Airbnb, Traveloka, Wanderlog) and gathering user requirements, we developed a travel app with an itinerary as our product MVP.
