Icon Design & Animation for Refract Group

Angus, CEO at Refract group - a full-service agency reached out to me for animations for their studio's website - Refract Group They were amid a website refresh, and sought help with web graphics to go on the new website.

Right off the discovery call Angus walked me through their organization's goals and what they aimed to achieve with the website refresh. The goal was to create something super simple that fit into the premium minimalistic feel of the Refract brand. I was tasked to design & animate the graphics that go on to the new website.

Angus shared with me pinterest board of similar designs and inspirations, and i got to work.

I played around with a couple of ideas and came up with the first drafts in figma.

The team eventually went with the first iteration above, and i moved on to animating them using Rive.

They absolutely loved it!

After the first section was done, i moved on to design the second section of graphics to on the website. i came up with a couple of iterations below:

In the end, after much consideration, we ended up with 10 web graphics that fitted just perfectly into their vision for their website.
