The brief

A woman in crimson, a pale-pink flamingo and a forest-green velvet bag with gold flamingo hardware meet in a misty topiary maze. No dialogue, no copy, just a silent exchange. The goal: a 30-second luxury spec film, tested as a 480p draft before committing credits to 1080p.

A reference system before any prompt

One sheet per entity [character, full-body turnaround, product, flamingo, environment, set] plus a mood key image. Seven references, cited in a fixed order (@Image 1–7), so the model never has to guess a face, a gown or the shape of a bag.

One master, seven shots

The whole film was generated as a single 30-second Seedance 2.5 master: seven shots, cuts landing within ±0.5 s of the script. One generation keeps light, grade and character consistent across shots, something stitched clips rarely achieve.

Review like an editor

Take 01 showed the same gesture twice (the hand reaching the bag in two shots), and its generated audio added flamingo squawks with a closed beak. Take 02 fixed the script — one action per shot — turned generated audio off, and replaced a 5-second feather macro with a still tableau that leaves room for the brand.

Repair, don't re-roll

A misplaced "midi" ring wasn't a prompt problem: it came from the hand panel of a reference sheet. Cropping the panel and regenerating one 5-second shot fixed it for 15 credits. A second 4-second repair removed objects intruding on the portrait (12 credits). Re-rolling the full master would have cost 90 and risked breaking shots that already worked.

A/B: Seedance 2.5 vs Kling 4.0

Same prompt, same seven references. Kling delivered native 1080p and richer velvet texture, but drifted on the character's face, added an unscripted shot and turned the flamingo coral. Shot-level repairs in Kling fixed one issue and broke continuity elsewhere — so the film stayed on Seedance.

Sound, built in post

Generated audio was off for the final takes. Foley from Take 01 was recovered and re-timed — a flamingo squawk lands 0.4 s before the cut as an L-cut — under an ElevenLabs score high-passed at 170 Hz to remove a low drone.

Titles

The official logo and the headline sit on either side of the protagonist's head, on the bright mist, with clearance checked on the first and last frame as she turns.

The film

Behind the scenes

By the numbers

Final film: 207 Higgsfield credits (two 30 s masters at 480p + two isolated repairs)
A/B and Kling tests: 130 credits
1 upscale test, rejected (skin looked artificial)
Score: ElevenLabs Music, 3 variations

What's next

The film is still a 480p draft. If the audience asks for it, it gets a full 1080p master.
