Air conditioning service providers, particularly small businesses and independent technicians, often struggle with an inefficient quoting process. Before CoolQuote, our client relied on Excel spreadsheets, which required significant effort to generate a single estimate. This method was slow, prone to errors, and demanded extra administrative work after site visits.

The traditional process involved visiting a client, taking notes manually, returning to the office, and only then preparing the quote. This delay reduced efficiency and sometimes led to lost opportunities. The market needed a faster, more flexible, and user-friendly solution to enable technicians to generate quotes instantly, even while still on-site.

The primary objective of CoolQuote was to accelerate the quoting process, minimize errors, and enhance user experience. By providing an intuitive digital platform, air conditioning service providers could instantly generate accurate quotes and export them as PDFs on the spot.

The target audience for this solution was small air conditioning installation businesses and independent technicians who needed an easy-to-use tool tailored to their specific needs. Unlike generic quoting platforms, CoolQuote was designed specifically for air conditioning installation services, ensuring a perfect fit for the industry’s workflow.

To build CoolQuote, we followed a structured approach:

Research: Understanding the pain points and workflow of air conditioning technicians.

UX/UI Design: Creating an intuitive interface for quick and seamless navigation.

Development with Bubble: Utilizing no-code technology to accelerate implementation and ensure flexibility.

One of the biggest challenges was structuring the database. Air conditioning installations are highly customizable, involving 70 individual items grouped into at least 7 different kits. Each installation could require a unique combination of kits and items. To address this, we designed a dynamic system that allows flexible item selection, making it easy for users to customize their quotes without complexity.
