About atlas.
The atlas. application was built due to a market research survey my team created. Results showed that it takes approximately 1 year for students to feel comfortable in their surroundings when at their college campuses. A year of missed opportunities when students are at their hungriest.

Competitor Analysis
- Social media can be a hit-or-miss game.
- Finding content creators that fit your niche can be time-consuming. They may not be sharing what you're looking for.
- Apps like Yelp don't cater to the typical college student. Information isn't readily available about places to study, fast WiFi, charger-accessibility, accommodation for large study groups, and more specifically: does not include places privately on campus. eg. Study rooms.
- Google reviews can be littered with paid advertisements, non-students, and more.
- Small businesses operating on campus don't have access to large-scale advertisements and reviews as such.
Solution: Develop an app that hosts online community pages for Universities, only accessible by those with an .edu account. Focusing on quality instead of quantity by only showcasing locations in a set radius.
Product Benefits
- SECURE: For students, by students, a trustworthy community of only your classmates, friends, and more.
- CONVENIENT: Features only walkable destinations both on campus or off campus, so you never miss out on what your campus really has to offer.
- REPLICABLE: atlas. is a platform, not an app created for any specific university in mind. Instead, it is a hosting application for community pages that can be replicated by universities across the world.
