Wedding Highlights Video Production Process

Pre-Wedding Preparation

Client Meeting:

• Initial meeting to discuss the wedding process and planning.
• Understand key events, timings, and specific moments to capture.



Wedding Day Filming

Setup:

• Set up long shot cameras for speeches and the ceremony.
• Capture b-roll of the environment and detailed shots of the groom and bride getting ready.
• Record vows in Afrikaans



B-Roll and Ceremony:

• Film b-roll during the ceremony, focusing on candid moments and important events.



Post-Ceremony Filming:

• Shoot couple shots on the mountains and in the fields, capturing the dramatic backdrop of clouds and thunderstorms.
• Return to the venue for general shots of the couple approaching and interacting with guests.
• Capture speeches, celebration, and evening shots to conclude the video.



Post-Wedding Editing

Footage Review:

• Review all footage, including vows and speeches, to identify the best clips.



Music Selection:

• Choose the song the bride walked down the aisle to for an emotional connection.



Rough Draft Creation:

• Build the rough draft, structuring the story and making initial edits and tweaks.



Final Editing:

• Add a different song to match the video’s flow.
• Perform final tweaks, including color grading, time remapping, and adding the couple's names at the beginning.
• Add light flares for visual enhancement.
• Final Delivery



Quality Checks:

• Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure the video is polished and professional.



Client Approval:

• Send the final version to the couple for approval and make any necessary adjustments.



Final Delivery:

• Deliver the final wedding highlights video to the couple in the requested format.
