Temi is an interactive wayfinding robot with speech recognition capabilities, designed to revolutionise user experience in industries such as retail and office buildings.

My role 🕵🏻‍♀️

In this project for JTC, I played a critical role in developing a user-friendly interface that enabled users to easily navigate and interact with the robot. I took on the challenge of conceptualising and designing the interface from scratch, ensuring that it was intuitive, accessible, and aligned with the objectives of the product.

In addition, Temi's endearing appearance and charming personality make it a delightful companion for users, adding a touch of warmth and friendliness to any environment. The aesthetically pleasing user interface, designed with user experience in mind, provides a seamless interaction between users and the robot, offering a visually appealing and intuitive way to access information and services. With its unique combination of advanced technology and user-centered design, Temi is a truly innovative wayfinding solution that enhances the overall experience of any space it inhabits.

Process 🛣

As part of the creative mastermind behind Temi's design, I crafted an immersive and engaging user experience that revolutionized the way people navigate their surroundings. With my keen eye for design and my ability to understand user needs and preferences, I conceptualised an endearing robot with a captivating personality and speech recognition capabilities. I also worked closely with developers to create a seamless user journey flow that would allow users to easily interact with Temi. Throughout the process, I continuously iterated on the design of Temi to ensure that it met the needs of a diverse range of stakeholders, including end-users, clients, and other stakeholders. This involved extensive user research and testing to understand user needs and preferences, as well as ongoing collaboration with the development team to refine the design and functionality of the robot. Through my dedication and continuous learning, I helped to create a truly innovative and user-centered solution that is transforming the way people interact with and navigate through their environments.

Takeaways 📣

Designing a user interface for a concierge robot for an office building was an opportunity for me to apply my knowledge and skills in user interface design and research. It was a valuable learning experience as it provided me with hands-on experience in designing an interface for a complex system such as a robot.
