I lead and managed the development of a Learning and Development (L&D) department for a retail business with over 1,000 employees, six retail locations, and two corporate offices. I was responsible for managing all aspects of training for the business. I created a department vision, strategic plan, and roadmaps for the training areas (online learning, leadership development, diversity training, culture initiatives, manager training, skill development, compliance). I oversaw the development and delivery of each training program. I partnered with leadership, executives, stakeholders, and consultants to ensure the right training was delivered in each area. I launched the company's first online/eLearning program and ensured adoption.
