Ground Magazine is an outdoor lifestyle magazine for young Canadian adults interested in camping, adventure, hiking, and the outdoors. The art direction and design choices in this magazine reflect the active and curious attitude of the target audience.
Cover Design The images on the front cover feature photography of Canadian landscapes while showcasing adventure and the outdoors. The typeface was chosen for its nostalgia and alludes to camp patches and crests.

Brand Identity The word “ground” symbolizes the surface of the earth, representing what this magazine will embody: the reconnection to earth, nature, and exploration via camping. Ground Magazine has an advantage over their competition (Explore Magazine, The Dyrt Magazine, and Sunset Magazine) as their content will take on an insightful approach, use contemporary design, and focus on Canadian travel.
