Dixon Acres Rebranding

To develop a refreshed brand concept for Dixon Acres, the project began by meeting the owners, understanding their values, and why their business stands out in the market. Through this initial discovery meeting, it was recognized that Dixon Acres is not merely a Golden Retriever breeder. Dixon Acres focuses on raising their dogs in a family environment with a focus on whelping and puppy raising, temperament testing, and matching puppies to families. These discoveries gave direction to the tagline and core concept behind the design solution: your family dog.

The final visual direction of this logo design was to encapsulate the values of the brand with a modern and elegant look. The new logomark is composed of a golden retriever with a sophisticated tagline, representing the types of dogs Dixon Acres breeds and their holistic businesses of family ready Golden Retrievers.

The brand guidelines were created to help maintain a consistent visual identity for Dixon Acres throughout the future of their business. An easy to use template was created for future print and web use.
