Project Overview & Role
The Shia Vault team needed a secure and user-friendly decentralized finance platform to offer interest-free crypto loans. The main objective was to let users deposit Shia tokens as collateral to borrow Ethereum against a one-time fee, completely eliminating ongoing interest charges while maintaining high transaction security.
As the Full-Stack & Blockchain Engineer, I built the entire platform from zero to launch, ensuring smooth interaction between modern web architecture and blockchain networks.
Responsibilities & Contributions
Developed responsive user interfaces using Next.js, React.js, Redux, and Material UI to manage complex application states and provide instant feedback
Architected secure server-side logic using Node.js and Express.js, supported by MongoDB for efficient data storage and user management
Integrated Web3 libraries including Ethers.js, Web3.js, and Wagmi to handle non-custodial wallet connections and smart contract interactions for collateral locking and borrowing
