The redesign of the YONO SBI app, an entire mobile banking platform, is the subject of this UX case study. The case study tries to solve current pain points and improve the app’s user experience by examining user research and feedback. The redesigned app places a high priority on personalised features, quicker transactions, and straightforward navigation. The objective is to develop a seamless and enjoyable banking experience using user-centered design principles that builds confidence, enhances usability, and responds to the changing demands of SBI customers.
Problem Statement
The YONO SBI app’s old user design poses serious problems for users, especially young people who have trouble navigating and completing transactions. A redesign is essential to address these problems and produce a modern, simple, and user-friendly banking experience that appeals to the diverse user base of SBI and enhances overall usability.
RESEARCH
Secondary research in UI/UX refers to the process of collecting and analyzing existing data and information that has been previously gathered by other sources. This can include published articles, academic research, industry reports, user feedback, and competitor analysis.
By looking at reviews of playstore Reviews, articles, case studies, etc, I found several problems, such as not being user-friendly, too many clicks in the transaction process, and a very poor user interface.
