Croft: CDN Management Tool - Product Design

Imagine a world where managing your Content Delivery Network (CDN) is as simple as checking your social media feed. That's exactly what we set out to create with Croft, a game-changing CDN management application that's turning heads in the digital world.

As a design agency, we were tasked with creating a CDN management application to address the complex needs of modern businesses. Our challenge was to design a solution that could securely deliver static content worldwide with low latency and high transfer speeds, while providing comprehensive, real-time analytics and easy configuration options. Our client needed a tool catering to both technical and non-technical users, offering insights into performance metrics, user behavior, and global traffic patterns.

Our solution features a user-friendly dashboard providing at-a-glance performance indicators for multiple domains, including cache hit rates, error counts, and domain-specific details. We implemented an intuitive CDN configuration interface that simplifies the setup process, allowing users to quickly deploy new CDNs with customizable SSL certificate options.

One of Croft's most innovative aspects is its advanced analytics capabilities. We designed comprehensive metrics dashboards offering real-time performance data through easy-to-understand graphs. A standout feature is the clear distinction between human and bot traffic, providing valuable insights into visitor types—a crucial factor for businesses looking to optimize their content delivery strategies.

To address the growing need for global performance analysis, we incorporated a world map visualization that tracks user connections in real-time. This feature analyzes performance based on factors such as DNS times, server response, and blocking resources, enabling businesses to quickly identify and address regional performance issues.
