Menagrid: Designing a platform for the MENA startup ecosystem
Samir Timezgida
Overview
Menagrid is a platform focused on startups, investors and the wider MENA technology ecosystem. I am a co-founder, and this website is part of my own venture. My work covered design and Webflow implementation.
Live website: https://menagrid.co/
The Challenge
The platform brings startup and ecosystem information into one visual system. It needed to serve readers exploring companies, funding news and related resources across desktop and mobile.
The Strategy & Solution
1. Community-Centric Design
Structured the content and designed page layouts around startup and ecosystem discovery.
Created a consistent visual language with clear navigation and content categories.
2. Webflow CMS for Scalability
Built a custom Webflow CMS to dynamically display startup profiles, funding news, and ecosystem reports.
Added interactions to support the visual presentation of content.
3. Mobile-First Optimization
Developed responsive page layouts in Webflow.
Included newsletter and enquiry paths within the site structure.
The Results
A designed and implemented website for Menagrid, my co-founder venture.
A Webflow CMS structure for startup and ecosystem content, with responsive layouts.
