Avenra is a modern mobile workforce and payroll management platform engineered for HR teams, contractors, and remote employees. The mobile app unifies time-off requests, daily work session tracking, contractor invoice schedules, and payout status updates into a clean, centralized interface. Designed to simplify workplace administration, Avenra turns complex HR processes into a fast, transparent mobile experience.
The Problem
Managing contractor billing, shift schedules, and paid time-off across distributed teams often leads to admin bottlenecks. Independent contractors struggle to track invoice approval statuses, while HR teams lose time organizing fragmented timesheets and manual schedules. Most existing HR software feels heavy, rigid, and poorly adapted for quick mobile usage. Avenra needed an intuitive mobile app interface that makes daily work logging, time-off requests, and invoice submissions effortless on the go.

Professional Authority: Building a trustworthy, enterprise-ready mobile tool for HR managers and independent contractors.
Scannable Visual Architecture: Replacing complex spreadsheets with clean card containers, color-coded status badges, and visual progress bars.
Instant Workflow Clarity: Giving users immediate visibility into invoice approval pipelines, shift schedules, and time-off balances at a single glance.
The Approach
Positioning & Narrative:
We positioned Avenra as a comprehensive dual-sided workforce workspace tailored for both HR administrators and independent contractors. The core workflow centers on three main actions: Track Hours, Manage Time Off, and Process Invoices. Users can easily switch context between tracking active work sessions, monitoring guaranteed payout statuses, and managing recurring billing schedules.
Visual System & Layout Execution:
Guaranteed Payout & Invoice Header: Main invoice screens highlight total pending amounts (e.g., $87,098.12) alongside clear payout stage indicators (Approved → Payment → Paid Out) and quick-action pill buttons (Add invoice, Add time off, Add hours).
Time Off Progress Bar & Cards: Dedicated time-off widgets display available balance bars (e.g., "5 days, 6 hours available") with color-coded breakdown tags (Taken, Approved, Requested, Available to book).
Interactive Schedule & Daily Workload Cards: Calendar modules present weekly dates alongside day totals (e.g., "Day total: 8h") and scheduled activity blocks like workshops and payroll training sessions.
Structured Invoice Schedules Feed: Invoice management views organize recurring billing into categorized cards (Weekly, Monthly, Biweekly, Quarterly) complete with status tags (Active Schedule, Pending Setup, Scheduled).
Invoice Creation Modal: A step-by-step mobile modal for drafting new invoices, detailing deposit methods, payment frequencies, PDF attachments, and clear primary action buttons (Submit, Edit).
Product Presentation:
The app is presented using crisp iPhone device mockups set against premium glassmorphic widgets, warm atmospheric gradients, clean white stone surfaces, and lifestyle hand-held contexts.
The Outcome
Avenra debuted with a high-conversion mobile interface that bridges the gap between field contractors and back-office HR teams. By organizing complex administrative tasks into clean, card-based mobile workflows, users can track their time and get paid faster with zero hassle.
