I successfully sold and managed the installation of two Dell servers, delivering a robust and scalable IT solution for the client. The project included the following key components:
Server 1 – Virtual Machine (VM) Installation:
This server was configured to host virtual machines (VMs), providing a flexible and efficient environment for the client’s applications. The VM setup was carefully planned and executed to ensure optimal performance, resource allocation, and scalability. Key tasks included:
VM Installation: Installed and configured multiple VMs tailored to the client’s needs, ensuring each VM was optimized for performance and capacity.
Resource Allocation: Properly allocated resources such as CPU, memory, and storage for each virtual machine, ensuring efficient operations and future scalability.
Security Configuration: Implemented security protocols and best practices for data protection, including network segmentation and user access management.
Server 2 – Disaster Recovery Setup:
The second Dell server was configured as a disaster recovery (DR) system, ensuring business continuity in the event of a failure. The DR setup included:
Replication Setup: Configured data replication from the primary server to the disaster recovery server, ensuring minimal downtime and data loss.
Automated Failover: Implemented automated failover processes to ensure that the client’s operations would continue seamlessly in the event of a server failure.
Testing and Validation: Conducted extensive testing to verify the disaster recovery processes and ensure everything was in place for a fast recovery.
Project Management: I managed the entire process from start to finish, overseeing:
Planning and Coordination: Defined project scope, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with the client’s expectations.
Installation and Configuration: Coordinated the server installations, configuration, and testing for both servers.
Quality Assurance: Ensured all installations were completed to the highest standards, with thorough testing and validation.
