Project Overview: Harvest Hands Collective is a community-focused initiative that empowers individuals through urban farming, food education, and access to fresh produce, all while fostering sustainability. The brand identity was designed to reflect these values, blending earthy tones and organic shapes with modern elements to create a logo that symbolizes growth, community, and sustainability.
Design Process: The design process started with in-depth research into urban farming and sustainable food practices. I aimed to create a visual identity that represented the organic nature of farming while also conveying the collective's commitment to community empowerment. The chosen color palette draws inspiration from nature, with green tones symbolizing growth and nourishment. The logo design features simple yet impactful imagery that evokes the idea of hands cultivating the earth.
Core Features:
Logo Design: A modern yet earthy logo featuring hands and agricultural elements to represent growth and sustainability.
Typography: The use of clean, simple fonts that complement the natural imagery while remaining legible across various mediums.
Brand Materials: Packaging, promotional materials, and social media assets designed to communicate the collective's core mission.
Impact: The new brand identity has been instrumental in positioning Harvest Hands Collective as a trusted voice in urban farming and sustainability. It helps the organization stand out in a crowded market and resonates with its target audience, leading to increased community engagement and support.
Technology & Design Tools: Created using Adobe Illustrator for logo design and Figma for branding assets. The design was also iterated based on feedback from stakeholders to ensure it aligned with the collective’s mission and values.
My Role: As the Brand Designer and Brand Strategist, I was responsible for conceptualizing and executing the entire brand identity. I collaborated closely with the Harvest Hands team to ensure the design captured the essence of their mission and connected emotionally with their audience.
